What essential information should patients know before arriving at Donnelley Dermatology?

Donnelley Dermatology is located at 1075 Park Avenue, between 87th and 88th Streets. We are conveniently close to transportation, including the M86 Crosstown bus and the 4, 5, and 6 Subway lines. When you schedule your appointment, you will receive a link to create your Jane portal profile. Through this portal, you can complete your pre-visit paperwork. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early in case you need to fill out any additional or missed information. Since we see only one to two patients per hour, allowing us extensive time to address your skin concerns, we maintain a 48-hour cancellation/no-show policy. If you cancel within 48 hours or fail to show up, you will be charged a $150 fee for medical visits and $250 for procedures. If you are canceling a Monday appointment, please note that you must cancel by the prior Thursday. Please call 212-818-1743 to cancel or reschedule. Please opt in for both email and text reminders for your visit. You can book your initial and follow-up visits online, but please be advised that if your visit is more complex or takes more time, you will be charged an additional fee. For the first or last appointment of the day, you must call the office. Any procedures also incur additional fees (e.g., biopsies, injections, etc.).

What documents or items do patients absolutely need to bring to their first visit at Donnelley Dermatology?

Please bring a list of your medications and skincare products to your appointment. Additionally, please bring your ID and insurance card. While we do not contract with any insurance providers, we will use your insurance information when sending in prescriptions, biopsy specimens for pathology, etc.

Who will patients meet and interact with during their first visit at Donnelley Dermatology?

When you arrive, relax in our gorgeous and private waiting area and enjoy water (sparkling or still), coffee, or tea. My assistant, Nabila, will greet you, answer any questions, and provide any additional information you need to fill out (on an iPad). Given our low-volume model, we almost always run on time, so be prepared to be seen promptly! Nabila will then take you into one of our exam rooms to take a brief history before I join you for your appointment.

What payment methods does Donnelley Dermatology currently accept?

We accept all major credit cards and checks. We are working on accepting Zelle.

1-2 weeks after your visit, we will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Please note that every plan differs in the amount and whether you will be reimbursed. Medicare and Medicaid patients cannot submit claims for reimbursement.
